The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is the Indian regulatory body of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Its main purpose is to control the quality of drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices in the country, as well as to ensure the safe use of such products. The CDSCO is headed by the Director General of Health Services and is headquartered in New Delhi.
